Melaka Chicken Rice Balls
Ingredients
(A)
100 gm - Mak Nyonya Instant Chicken Rice Sauce
500 gm - Plain rice (long grain)
650 gm - Water
2 tbsp - Margarine
1 - Pandan leave
(B)
3 pcs - Chicken thigh
100 gm - Mak Nyonya Instant Chicken Rice Sauce
2 stalks - Spring onions
Methods
- Combine all ingredients A in a rice cooker and ready to cook.
- Marinade the chicken thigh with Mak Nyonya Instant Chicken Rice sauce for 2 hours. Steam for 20 -25 minutes.
- Remove the cooked rice and gently press the rice into the ping pong ball shape.
- To serve, garnish the steamed chicken thigh with sliced spring onion and chicken rice balls.
