Melaka Chicken Rice Balls

Ingredients

(A)
100 gm - Mak Nyonya Instant Chicken Rice Sauce
500 gm - Plain rice (long grain)
650 gm - Water
2 tbsp - Margarine
1 - Pandan leave

(B)
3 pcs - Chicken thigh
100 gm - Mak Nyonya Instant Chicken Rice Sauce
2 stalks - Spring onions

Methods

  1. Combine all ingredients A in a rice cooker and ready to cook. 
  2. Marinade the chicken thigh with Mak Nyonya Instant Chicken Rice sauce for 2 hours. Steam for 20 -25 minutes. 
  3. Remove the cooked rice and gently press the rice into the ping pong ball shape.
  4. To serve, garnish the steamed chicken thigh with sliced spring onion and chicken rice balls.
